Complete Chainmail Kit
This kit is perfect for beginners!! The instruction book is very clear and helpful for learning new weaves, I also think it’s very cool that credit is given for the creators of certain weave types. The rings come organized by size, with labels on the bag as a guide for which size/gauge to use for which projects. And it comes with A LOT of rings, like way more than I expected, it’s going to be a longggg time before I need to buy more

Chainmail kit
The instructions are hard to follow. I ended up going to YouTube. The rings suggested for the different weaves are way too small to be done by a beginner. A prime example is the half Persian. I feel for beginners you would want bigger rings so they can see exactly what they are doing and learning the weave. Right now I’m just blindly stabbing and hoping for the best. Colored rings would be cool too. That would also help see the weave. I’m honestly going to order bigger rings and use those to learn. The tools are nice though, I just had to add some padding to the handles.

Great Starter Kit
I am just getting into the hobby of making chainmail jewelry, and this starter kit is excellent! The rings provided are a good range of sizes, not too small for those with poor eyesight or not the most dextrous hands. I appreciate the bent-nose pliers and the tutorial book to help you get comfortable with different weave patterns.
